general guidelines
1. A registration fee of S$50.00 per team will apply. This fee is inclusive of attending the LAUNCH on 4 September 2004 at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and joining the PITCH 04 National Secondary School Competition. (submission deadline: 25 September 2004)
2. A PITCH team with a maximum of 5 student members and a minimum of 3 student members will be permitted for each entry. Each team will be allowed to have 1 teacher/mentor from the respective school.
3. Each entry consists of:
• An application form
• A 150 to 200-word synopsis for a 10 to 12 minutes short video in any
genre stated in the competition form
• A 400 to 500-word essay on why the PITCH should be selected
4. Shortlisted entries will be making their presentations to an industry panel on a date to be announced later. Each PITCH team will be given a maximum of 15 minutes for their presentation followed by a short Question & Answer session. They will be judged on both content and presentation.
5. Participants should present original and emotionally engaging stories.
6. PITCH 04 will culminate with an Awards Gala Presentation. Winners will stand to win exciting prizes including a Panasonic Video Camera worth $5 000 and many more.

7. Ngee Ann Polytechnic reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations without any prior notice to all participants.
