about PITCH
PITCH is a National Secondary Schools Competition organised by the School
of Film & Media Studies, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. A PITCH is a way
to sell an idea to an audience. As PITCH's emphasis is on creativity and originality,
our aim is to give students a platform to show off their talents in numerous
ways.
This year's theme is storytelling through a video-based medium. Students are to submit a 150-200 word synopsis of their story and a 400-500 word essay explaining why their story should be chosen by 25 September 2004. Shortlisted participants will get to PITCH their stories to a panel of judges from the local media industry in November.
To prepare students for the synopsis, we organised an event called LAUNCH Seminar & Showcase on 4 September 2004. To find out more about LAUNCH...click here.
